"Paw-sitive" rewiring of the brain

I was commissioned to make a hand drawn illustration for an article on 'Sheherazade speaks of Science'. 'Sheherazade speaks of Science' is an online blog where scientists who champion equality share articles written in the form of engaging stories that help us become more acquainted with a diverse range of scientific theories and principles. This particular article, written by Yara el Murr, I made an illustration for speaks about the science behind the positive effect that pets have on our mental and emotional wellbeing.
