Cambridge Open Studios is a community of around 470 artists, craftspeople and designer-makers working throughout Cambridgeshire who's aim it is to help bring artists and local people together.
As a new member of this community, I am participating in this year's annual Open Studios Event taking place this July. Through this I, together with other participating members, invite the public to visit my studio, providing an opportunity for you to see my work, find out about the techniques I use, ask questions surrounding my creative processes and make a purchase if you see a particular piece you would like to bring home with you!
The works I am showcasing involve a recent collection of observational drawings using black pen on paper of places in and around Cambridge and London, as well as a collection of paintings made with oil paint on canvas. My studio is open for visitors from 11 am - 6 pm during each remaining weekend of this month. If you are in the area or are planning to make a trip to Cambridge during this period, I invite you to pick up a free Cambridge Open Studios guide (they shouldn't be too difficult to find as we have distributed them all over town), find me under studio no. 33 and come visit my studio!
