Cambridge Open Studios is a community of around 470 artists, craftspeople and designer-makers working throughout Cambridgeshire who's aim it is to help bring artists and local people together.
As members of this community, Ruth Hawkins, Sarah Lucy Lee and myself ( Esther Yasmin Groeneveld) are participating in this year's annual Open Studios Event taking place this July. We will have our exhibition running in the Annex Building of St. Andrew's Church in Chesterton from 11 am to 6 pm on the Saturdays and Sundays of the 3rd and 4th weekends of July (the 15th - 16th and the 22nd - 23rd).
With this we invite the public to visit our exhibition, providing an opportunity for you to see our work, find out about the techniques we use, ask questions surrounding our creative processes, make a purchase and enjoy a fun, welcoming and creative atmosphere!
Refreshments will be provided and street parking will be available on site.
(Photographs from top to bottom are of the front cover of and of a double page spread within the Cambridge News newspaper from the 29th of June. On the left hand corner of the front cover is an image of my painting 'Lovely Day', which will also be available for view and purchase at our July Open Studios exhibition. Within the double page spread you can see the work of various artists participating in July Open Studios including again my painting 'Lovely Day' and Sarah (Lucy) Lee's painting 'Pumpkin Conference II.')
