Mind over matter

The idea behind the creation of this 3 minute video came about in response to the attempt of understanding the concept of mind over matter and reflecting upon the following concept that was put forward to me by a friend, 

 

"The material universe is an illusion caused by our identification with it's possibility. Therefore we are the creators, as well as the prisoners."

 

The video uses a combination of stop motion as well as normal digital filming and editing techniques.

 

 

 

 

 

The tree of addictions

October 2009 / September 2015 

 

This video is the first short film I have ever put together and came about through a brief I selected during the first month of my last year of study at Goldsmiths. The brief was to explore the subject of addictions through creating a piece of work using any preferred medium. 

 

The 'Tree of addictions' is a very abstract piece that aims to explore the subject of addictions and contemplate where one draws the line between a regular indulgence and a dangerous habit. The video uses rostrum animation, stop motion as well as normal digital filming and editing techniques.
